Luminous Orange - Formoz Festival2007
When I found time, I was strolling throughout Taipei town. The photos are of Dee Hua Chie,
long rows of wholesalers on both sides of the street. The district is one of the oldest areas.
They sell Chinese medicine, tea leaves, dried foods, in reasonable prices (and in large quantities).
I bought tea leaves called Oriental Beauty, and some balls of delicately crafted flower tea.
Dilapidated houses near Shimen area. I wonder how Labrador Retrievers survive
this humidity and high temperature?
Taiwanese food was lovely! Beef noodle I had at Yon-kan-chie street,
Mango sherbet topped with generous amount of sliced fresh mango. It was fantastic.
The deserts on this signboard have mountains of bean curd on their tops....maybe too much!!

On July 30th, a night before our departure, we played at a venue called The Wall as Formoz's after party.
The line-up was Yindi Halda, six o'minus & Luminous Orange.
Although the venue was smartly decolated and big, it looked to us that the staff was not highly skilled.
Besides, the crash cymbal and Hi Hat were cracked and sounded awful.
We felt a bit anxious....
Though, nothing will break his composure. Harie the drummer, age 21.
Anyway, Endo-Donkey san and Harie rented prestine cymbals from the adjacent
rehearsal studio. It's monday right after 3-day big Formoz Festival,
does anyone want to come?
