A serial killer who murdered four young men he met on gay networking sites in Britain was sentenced on Friday to life in prison without the possibility of release. A plane carrying Panama s former military general and dictator, Manuel Noriega, landed in Paris early Tuesday after his extradition from the United States to face money-laundering charges. HT Image France sentenced the former dictator in absentia in 1999 to 10 years in prison but now wants to try him on money-laundering charges. Noriega, now 74, was toppled and captured in 1989 during the US invasion of Panama ordered by President George Bush senior. In Florida, he was tried and sentenced to 40 years for drug trafficking and money laundering. That sentence was then reduced to 17 years for good behaviour.
