Harris, beloved wife of the late Lewis Harris, went home to be with her loved ones Oct. 11, 2011.Nat was born June 14, 1917, in Charlesto <a href=https://www.stanleywebsite.us>stanley cup</a> n, one of 11 children to Henry and Ruth Webber Dunham.She graduated from Higgins Classical Institute, Charleston, in 1938. Growing up she learned hard work, family values, love and faith, and carried those values throughout her life. She trained at Eastern Academy of Hairdressers and started her career as a hairdresser. She worked a few years in the salon for Janette Murphy and then traveled from home to home to do hair for customers who would later become lifelong friends. She continued working well into her 80s before a broken knee slowed her down and would eventually cause her to retire.Nat was a faithful member of Park Street United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Ayuda Club, Neighborly Christmas Club, Garden Club, Senior Citizens Club, American Legion Post No. 41 Auxiliary, and Meals for ME, where she volunteered her time twice a week. She was a loving and caring person to everyone in her life.
