
●Homestay with Japanese Family
Japanese Association of The Experiment in International Living (EIL-Japan) invites you to apply for a homestay with a Japanese family for a period of 1 to 4 weeks.
The program provides participants with a special insight into Japanese society through experiencing daily Japanese life, customs and values. Participants will learn that people can "learn to live together by living together.
The Homestay is an intensive cross-cultural experience and is not a tour nor travel program. You will be welcomed as a member of the family, assuming all responsibilities and privileges. You may not work or attend a school during the homestay, except for our language course. All travel costs are the responsibility of the participant.
●Conditions
・ Be between 18 and 60 years old
・ Be in good health and willing to exchange with Japanese people
・ Be able to communicate either in Japanese or English

*Application must be turned in at least 8 weeks prior to your homestay)

●Japanese Language Training
This program contains 4 weeks of Japanese language training and homestay for individuals. Participants stay 1 night at a hotel on arrival.
Location : Tokyo
Timing : April, July, October, January
up to 5 applicants for each course

Academic Year Program provides the exchange student an opportunity to experience usual Japanese life as a high school student through homestay with a Japanese host family and attending classes at a Japanese high school. The main object of this program is to promote cultural exchange.
The tuition for the host school is waived and the host family accepts the exchange student without receiving any money. The exchange student is expected to interact with Japanese people as an ambassador of his/her own country.
Program starts from April or September for 5 months or 10 months
