I went to Higashi-Fuji training area to see the demonstration of JGSDF (Japanese Grand Self Defense Force) on 21st August Saturday with my brothers and sister by car. We left my parents' home at 6:00.
We arrived at the parking of JGSDF at 7:40 and we went to Higashi-Fuji training area by shuttle bus at 8:00.
I took some photos of Mt. Fuji until beginning of the demonstration. I could take very interesting photos with effect by Camera (CANON Kiss Digital) and Lens (SIGMA ASPHERICAL IF 28~200mm (35mm Film Conversion 45~320mm)

[1st step] (10:20~11:00)

Opening demonstration was that F-4JE (Phatom) fighter came to Higashi-Fuji training area and released 3 bombs suddenly.
We could see 3 big fireballs and 3 black cloud of smoke on the land. And the explosion were very big and shocking.

After that, many kinds of Self Movable Cannons (SMC) and Self Movable Rocket Launchers came there. 3 Self Movable Cannons fired all at once. The explosion were very big and shocking and resounded in my body. The showing said that 203mm Self Movable Cannons were made in USA and 99type 155mm Self Movable Cannons were made in Japan. but 99type was strong though compact.

Next demonstrations were midle and short distance misiles's shooting. Ex. 120mm trench mortar, 81mm trench mortar, 96Type Multipurpose Misile, Many kind of Tank-Target Misiles, 84mm non-shocked Misile、 Many kind of Tanks, and Light Tanks fired each other.

The final demonstration was a Japanese original tank "Type 90" (JT-90) making a boast of power in the world. They showed us its running, stopping, and shooting capability. It was very excellent in the areas.

[2nd step] (11:20~12:00)

The opening demonstration was that 3 JT-90s fired all at once while running. It was very forceful and stirring for us.

After that, many kinds of helicopters demonstrations.

Then some big conveyance helicopters brought some patrol bikes, some troops, some Missilecars and some High-movers.
Many tanks fired all at once, so we could see fires and smokes line like Mt. Fuji made by many fireballs.

The climax of the fired show by JGSDF's high-level technique. We could see fires and smokes line like Mt. Fuji. [Informations of this demonstration] (1) Total : 1,700 troops, 70 Tanks, 30 helicopters、1 Fighter. (2) Total cost : about 500 milion yen? (8/21＆28) NHK-TV said that 8/28（Sat)'s cost was 320 milion yen. 　☆ : Photps by my sisiter

After this show, we drove around Mt. Fuji and visited Mizugatsuka Park and we had lunch in this restaurant. We can see the volcano of Mt. Hohei. Photo on 2003/11/02

we visited Miracle stone museum.

And we had Dinner in a Japanese restaurant "Tohuya Ukai" near my home leisurely. "Tohuya Ukai" is high class restrant as "Kaiseki", So we had good food in the nice mood.

　"PROGRES" is meening of PROGRESS in French. "PROGRES" impressed newest car in now was made by TOYOTA in Japan. This car has not TOYOTA's emblem. This car's rivals are BMW's cars and Benz's cars grown up in German Autobarn. So this is very smooth on highway.
