how to cut masking without hurting glass

When you cut masking sheets, you sometime hurt glass.
If you go on sandblasting with hurts, outlines will be rough.
To avoid this, it is best to anneal a cuter blade by burning.

Break an blade edge a bit by pushing it to solid things , because the blade edge will be too soft after annealing.

Burn the blade in a flame of an alcohol lamp and cool it. After this, the blade becomes a soft iron loosing its temper.

You can cut a masking safely without hurting glass. Of course, the blade will be dull but enough to cut a masking.

If the blade is too dull, please sharpen it on a phetstone.
