彼女の歌声にはブルースが潜んでいる気がします。ソウルではなくブルース。ブルースには悲哀やしみったれた気持ちが垣間見えるので、個人的には好きじゃないのですが、こういう歌声とメロディーラインを好む層にアピールするのも良く分かります。4曲目と7曲目はとても良く出来ています。デビューアルバムとは思えない出来ですね。

5曲目は2000年代のソウル・クラシックスと言っても差し支えない出来栄え。Main Ingredientsをホントにうまくサンプリングして、新たなソウル・クラシックスの息吹を吹き込んでいますね。原曲の印象的なピアノリフ部分をサンプリングするあたり、Kayne Westのセンスを感じます。6曲目もジンワリ良い曲ですね。彼女の声に良く合ってます。
