–WBMJ @1190kHzASan Juan: Rcv. Oct. 9, 2010 : Re. e-1days –

Dear Mr. Harumasa Yokoi;

This email is to verify your reception report from Nagoya, Japan of WBMJ
AM 1190 in San Juan, Puerto Rico from
09:07 UTC to 09:15 UTC and from 09:31 UTC to 09:33 UTC on October 9,
2010. As Japan is a great distance away,
and as there are a number of more powerful stations on the air on or
around 1190 KHz, it is amazing that you were able
to pinpoint our signal. In you email, the "Today Word" is a program
aired at that time called "Today in the Word".

You may be interested to know that WBMJ was started in the mid 1960s and
originally owned by U.S. comedian Bob Hope.
At that time, popular rock-and-roll music was played. The reference to
"Rock" held. It is now owned and operated by the Calvary Evangelistic
Mission of San Juan, Puerto Rico. We are a Christian radio station.
WBMJ stands for "We Bring the Message of Jesus".
It is called on the air "The Rock Radio" (Jesus being the rock of our
salvation).

WBMJ is part of a network of three stations - WCGB AM 1060 and WIVV AM 1370.

Jackie Rodriguez, our office manager, will be sending you some items in
the mail.

Cordially Yours,

Bill Heffley
technical engineer of WBMJ
