墓石の形Styles of Gravestone

「五輪塔」

お墓の原型となる本来の形で、インド・中国にも原型を見ることができます。ギボシ・笠石・玉・竿石・上台から構成されます。

”Gorintou”
Original style of gravestone. There are original old form in India and China. It consisted from five parts called Giboshi, Kasaishi, Tama, Saoishi,and Joudai.

「和式」

五輪塔が簡略化された形です。基本型は竿石・上台・中台・芝台と下に行くほど大きくなります。竿石の下に座布団状のスリン付石塔、蓮華の花びらが付いた蓮華石塔、竿石の上に笠が付いた大名型石塔などがあります。

"Washiki;Japanese style"
This is the simplified form of "Gorintou". Basically, this style is consisted from Saoishi,Joudai,Chudai,and Shibadai, and lower is bigger. There are vorious styles; with cushion like Surin under Saoishi, with Lotus flower, with Kasa on Saoishi(Daimyo;Samurai General style)

「洋式」

和式と違い、西洋のお墓のデザイン風に主に横長の石塔です。赤やピンク、紫色や流れる模様の石を使ったり、花の彫刻や言葉を彫り込むご希望のお客様が多く、オリジナリティーに富んだ墓石も多くあります。

"Youshiki;Western style"
This style is inspired from western gravestone, not tall but wide.Many customers choose red, pink, purple, or stream like pattern stones, and request for carving flowers or thier words and letters. Many unique and rich originality designs in this style.
