【襖貼り】　DIY "The Fusuma-hari"（2004/12）

On the 29th Nov. I did DIY for the Fusuma-hari(Papering sliding doors).
Fusuma is a framed and papered sliding door as a room partition. It is an important door for a Japanese style room as an accenting for it. It produces a romantic atmosphere for us.
I bought 2 kinds of paired paper for Fusuma and a lot of tools for papering at DIY shop. One kind of paper was for a surface as a seeing part, another one was for it's back.
This time was test for papering. So I papered one Fusuma like old one. I could paper very good. But my wife said that it is very cheap for this room. So this my job stopped at this time. DIY shop has not expensive papers. And Fusuma-hari need to a lot of times for me.

So I asked the cost of papering to Fusuma-hari shop. It was \70,000.
I ordered to paper to Fusuma-hari shop because Fusuma-hari shop have many kinds of beautiful paper.
I could choose a very good paper. So My home's Fusumas began very beutiful.
