In August 1993, I had a great chance to visit Greenland, located in the extreme severe natural conditions ice covered mostly year around. The main purpose of my business trip in August 1993 was to have a technical meeting with Swiss Telecommunications Company in Bern. At almost the same timing, a general assembly of the telecommunication company in Denmark was going to be held at SonderStroem Fiord in Greenland. We had also strong business connections with them at that time, so I was instructed to attends that assembly held in Greenland after finishing my job at Bern Switzerland. I was rather delighted to have this chance to be able to visit this far end biggest island in the world.
