märklin / motorolla and DCC

Basic information for Gauge1 beginner.

 

There is a two major digital systems for Gauge 1.

One is märklin/motorolla the other one is DCC.

There is no compatibility between these two format.

All märklin locomotives equipped märklin/motorolla decoder.

All hübner locomotives equipped märklin/motorolla and DCC multi- format decoder.

Most of all gauge 1 locomotive can be used with märklin/motorolla digital central.
