< What is a Special Permission for Landing >
As the final step of landing examination, the Minister of Justice, considering special circumstances and at his discretion, may grant a special permission to a foreigner who does not fulfill the requirements for landing.
However, this permission is granted in a very exceptional case and is not what a foreigner may apply for.
This permission seems to be granted limitedly in the following cases.
1. When you have a re-entry permission.
Even if you have a re-entry permission, when you come under any one of reasons for refusal of landing while leaving Japan, your landing will be refused but may be subject to the special permission.
2. When a reason for refusal of landing is not so serious and also there are circumstances of humanity such as a spouse of Japanese national, etc.
Your inquiry will be always welcome;
