< What is an Application Proxy System? >
[Application Proxy System]
When you make an application relating to your residence in Japan or your proxy applies for a certificate of eligibility, you or your proxy shall appear in person at the Regional Immigration Bureau.
However, as the only exception, the application proxy system is provided. The purpose of this system is to reduce the foreigner's burden (long queue and waiting time) and prevent an imperfect documentation.
The merit of taking this system for you or your proxy is to be exempted from appearing at the Regional Immigration Bureau.
[Certified Immigration Procedures Specialist]
Among Administrative Procedures Specialists (Gyouseishoshi), a person certified by the chief of the Regional Immigration Bureau as having a thorough knowledge of Immigration Control Law is qualified as a Certified Immigration Procedures Specialist.
I am certified by the chief of Tokyo Regional Immigration Bureau.
